Concerts, comedy shows, shows, ballets, etc.

When you organise a concert, we will issue you a licence authorising you to perform the compositions to be played. This also applies to comedy and other shows where music is performed.

As a rule, the licence fee is a percentage of your ticket sales. By way of exception, the licence fee may be calculated based on the costs for musicians (artists’ fees, agents’ fees, and travel and accommodation costs), local rent and PA system.

The percentage rate may not exceed 10% of your ticket sales. This percentage is lower if SUISA does not manage the rights to all the works performed provided you deliver a complete list of works in good time.

For more details, please consult the relevant fact sheet and tariff.

If you play sound recordings (CDs, MP3s etc.), we will charge you an additional fee for the rights of the performing artisits and producers (neighbouring rights) on behalf of SWISSPERFORM.

You are entitled to a reduction if you are a member of a recognised trade association such as the SMPA, PETZI, SBCK, or t. Theaterschaffen Schweiz and if you conclude a contract with SUISA provided you comply with your contractual obligations and the tariff provisions.

How to proceed

Send us the duly completed questionnaire together with your list of works. We will then issue the licence and invoice. Once your payment is received, we shall distribute the remuneration to the beneficiary composers, lyricists and publishers.
