Professional orchestras

Concert societies which organise concerts by their own professional orchestra require a licence under Tariff D.  To qualify for such a licence, the concert society must also receive significant public subsidies.

The licence fee is calculated as a percentage of total concert revenues. The revenues consist of the proceeds from ticket and subscription sales, members’ contributions and concert subsidies.

The maximum tariff rate is 10% of total revenues. If the concert society concludes a long-term contract with SUISA, it can benefit from a reduction in fees.

Please send us the duly completed questionnaire together with your list of works. We will then issue the licence and invoice. Once your payment is received, we will distribute the revenues to the beneficiary composers, lyricists and publishers.
