Tariffs valid as of 2016
A number of tariffs have been adapted with effect on 1 January 2016. The licence fees for private copying on MP3 players with high storage capacity have been reduced, for example. (Photo: Marcel Grubenmann)
After successful negotiations with the user associations, the current tariff approval process for 2016 is nearly completed. Although the tariffs will only apply next year, we wish to inform you in good time about the results of the tariff negotiation round. As soon as a tariff is approved by the Federal Arbitration Commission for copyrights and neighbouring rights, we will publish it for downloading on this site. As of 1 January 2016, the new tariffs will also be available in the Download Centre and on the relevant pages of the individual tariffs.
In spring 2015, SUISA renegotiated eight tariffs with the competent user associations. All the negotiations were successfully concluded and agreement was reached on the new tariffs for 1 January 2016. This is most satisfactory because this enables us to avoid protracted proceedings and contributes to increased legal certainty on all sides. For a detailed report on the 2015 tariff negotiations, go to SUISAblog (SUISAblog available in German and French only).
