The FONDATION SUISA can award recognition prizes to Swiss composers or publishers whose work has contributed in an outstandig way to the enrichment of the country's cultural heritage.
List of former winners (German)
The FONDATION SUISA will be awarding this year's prize with a value of CHF 20'000.- in recognition of a Swiss composer from the field of contemporary music whose work is characterised by a combination of:
instrumental or vocal ensemble and electronic music
and/or
orchestra and electronic music
Works in which analogue and/or digital electronics are used will be taken into consideration.

Terms of participation
A basic requirement for participation is that the applicant is a member of SUISA and has a Swiss citizenship or a permanent residence permit. Candidates can also be suggested by third parties. A jury of experts will assess the submitted candidacies on the basis of the regulations.

b) Application dossier (written or electronic as PDF)
Your application dossier must contain a biography of the candidate, an in-depth justification/motiva-tion, a detailed list of his/her works and performances, possible scores and, wherever possible, a sound carrier.
Please send the dossier as a PDF per e-mail to prix@who-needs-spam.fondation-suisa.ch or by post to FONDATION SUISA, Prize 2013, Avenue du Grammont 11bis, 1007 Lausanne.
The closing date for both documents (registration form and application dossier) is 30 June 2013 (date of the postmark).
