You can join SUISA as a publisher if you can show that you already work as an original publisher or subpublisher. Please ask for the relevant application form publisher@who-needs-spam.suisa.ch.
Members and Associate Members
You first join SUISA as an associate member. Provided you have been an associate member for at least one year, you can become an ordinary member, with full voting and election rights, as soon as you have received at least CHF 2000 in royalties.
SUISA charges a one-time membership fee of CHF 200.-, including VAT.
Occupational Benefits
Publishers who are established and active in Switzerland or Liechtenstein are basically eligible to join SUISA’s pension fund for authors and publishers. The terms and conditions are laid down in the pension fund regulations.
