Tariff H applies to music used for dancing and entertainment in hotels and restaurants. Tariff Hb covers:
- Music with musicians and singers (live oder play-back)
- Music for dancing or accompanying shows and attractions (performing artists and dancers etc.)
- Music with disc jockeys or video jockeys
- Music for karaoke events
The Tariff applies to music copyrights (the rights of composers, lyricists and publishers) and to neighbouring rights (performers’ and producers’ rights) which are in the purview of SWISSPERFORM. SUISA represents SWISSPERFORM as the central collecting agency for Tariff H.
