When to join SUISA ?

It makes sense to become a member of SUISA if your work is used publicly (e.g. if it is broadcast or performed).

Do I need a licence?

Anybody who organises concerts or publishes, reproduces, performs, broadcasts or otherwise disseminates music is automatically a customer of SUISA.

SUISA operates as part of a network of national and international organisations in the copyright field.

    Prix Walo 2024

    The 48th Prix Walo awards ceremony - the highest award in Swiss show business - will take place on Saturday, May 4, 2024. An expert jury will nominate artists and productions for the Prix Walo in nine categories plus audience favorites - based on their outstanding achievements in 2023.

    The Swiss Music Awards (SMA) are an annual music award ceremony. Together with GfK Switzerland, the association Press Play is responsible for nominating and selecting the award winners in accordance with the regulations.

    The Swiss Music Awards have become a meeting place for the music business, the media and personalities from politics and society.

    SWISS MUSIC @ The Great Escape

    The Great Escape Festival in Brighton (UK) is one of the world’s largest music festivals with over the course of four days, showcase concerts by more than 400 underground and indie bands. 

    SWISS MUSIC, the promotion programme of FONDATION SUISA and Pro Helvetia for the benefit of Swiss music exports with the support of the Swiss Embassy in the UK, is present on site.
